Corine West, Hospital Manager

Corine has been at Native Palm Animal Hospital since 2003. She is in charge of making sure the doctors and staff have everything they need for the hospital to run smoothly. This includes managing the hospital's inventory and ensuring pet owner satisfaction. For Corine, watching pets leave the hospital happy and healthy is the most rewarding part of her job. "The doctors and staff at Native Palm are very caring when it comes to animals; everyone is always willing to help each other," she says.

Corine began her career in veterinary medicine 36 years ago, initially working as a receptionist before moving on to veterinary technician, then bookkeeper, and finally hospital manager. Outside of work, Corine enjoys riding motorcycles, camping, and traveling. She has two dogs; Hannah and Maddie.

Casey Morton, Veterinary Technician

Casey Morton is a Veterinary Technician here at Native Palm Animal Hospital. She is responsible for staying a step ahead of the doctors at all times and making sure everything is ready to go for the day. Casey is essential to making sure the office runs smoothly and that our patients are always receiving the best possible care. She lends assistance in surgeries and helps ensure that your pet is comfortable during procedures and check-ups.

Casey began working with us full-time in February of 2018, but she has been working with animals for 25 years. She loves being a part of the Native Palm office because we treat all our patients like family. Casey prioritizes patient education, and that is why she is always helping our patients learn new ways to better care for their furry friends at home. Casey also has six pets: Belle, Beastly, Babydoggy, Sissy, and Maggie. We are so lucky to have such a caring team member like Casey here at Native Palm Animal Hospital!

Rachel Tocco, Veterinary Technician

Rachael Tocco has been part of the Native Palm since August of 2016. She is a Veterinary Technician and is responsible for performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, and assisting the Veterinarians with anything they might need. Rachael helps to educate our patients about proper pet healthcare in order to ensure that their pets are always happy and healthy. She has a decade of experience working with animals and studying their behavior.

Rachael graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and an Associate of Science in Biotechnology. She has previously worked at Safe Harbor Animal Hospital from 2009-2014 and Busch Wildlife Sanctuary from 2008-2011. Rachael has three pets: Bella the Pit mix, BamBam the Pomapoo, and Torti the African Spurred Tortoise.

Krista, Receptionist

Krista is a full-time Receptionist. She is responsible for scheduling appointments, keeping records up to date, answering client questions, and greeting our patients with a smile. Krista is the first person you will see when you and your pet come in for your visit here at Native Palm Animal Hospital. She always does her best to help make your pet feel safe and comfortable every time they come in.

Krista graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. She joined our team in May of 2015 and has been working with animals for over 15 years. Before working at Native Palm, Krista worked as a doggie daycare manager, a Kennel Technician, and a Groomer’s Assistant. When asked about why she loves working at Native Palm, Krista says that our quality of care is excellent. Our staff and doctors are compassionate, knowledgeable, and always professional. Krista is such a positive addition to our team and we are so happy to have her!

Dottie Rivers, Kennel Technician

Dottie Rivers is a Kennel Technician here at Native Palm Animal Hospital. She has an unwavering passion for taking care of animals and loves helping our patients every day! Dottie is responsible for maintaining the facilities and ensuring that we have everything we need in order to properly care for our patients.

She helps treat hospitalized animals, assists veterinary technicians, and cares for boarded animals. Dottie has always had such a passion for taking care of animals in need, and we are so lucky to have her as part of the Native Palm team!
